This has been a long road in Lancaster, and a mission field in need of encouragement. A lot has happened in Lancaster and Morecambe over the past 18 years, and I’ve been very encouraged by reports from other cities that have overcome some of the barriers that we have faced in Lancaster and Morecambe. Perhaps in this mission field we can benefit more than any other from best practice advice from other cities.

When I went to Frankfurt, I learned so many things about other areas where they’re ahead, and I know that whatever we learn in Lancaster from other cities about addressing the addicts and ex-offenders mission field, we’ll be able to pass on to Frankfurt.
